Help with Easy Social Stories

These are our most frequently asked questions. If this does not answer your question, please feel free to contact us.

Do I need a PayPal account to make a purchase?
No. PayPal processes our online payments – you do not need to have a PayPal account to use your credit or debit card with us.

How do I get these stories?
Easy Social Stories are delivered to you by email. Links are sent automatically, once your purchase is complete. I recommend saving the files to your own device, as delivery links expire after 10 downloads or 3 months, which ever comes first.

How do I use these social stories?
Share these stories with your kids, by printing them out or by using them on a device. It’s a good idea to share them with teachers, therapy providers and other caregivers, so they can use them with your child, too. Read more about how I use these stories with my kids.

How do I share these stories?
If you print the stories, you can make an extra copy. If you use them electronically, you can forward the email or just the links to providers.

Which File format should I use?
When you use the emailed links to go to a story’s delivery page, you will see the following:

iPad / Nook Viewing – Single Pages for an app feel
Choose this format if you want to view the story on screen – great for iPad, computer, smart phone, or tablet. Any device that can display PDF files will work.
Single Sided Printing
This format is for those who have difficulty with double sided printing. With this format, you simply print the whole file and you can either staple one corner or tape pages back-to-back for a thicker, more substantial book feeling.
Printable Book Format (bind with string or staples)
This version has the pages reordered so it works with double sided printing, as illustrated below. Book formatting allows you to use just 3 pieces of paper, to print the whole story. You can use staples or string to “bind” it, to hold the pages together.

Each printer is different in the way it handles double sided printing. Please consult your printer’s user manual for more information.
